How to install and set up the MW4 Cheats loader

This is the exact sequence we walk every new buyer through. Follow it once, top to bottom, and the MW4 loader will inject cleanly and open the menu in under five minutes.

STEPS

Full install, in order

  1. Buy access on the site.

    Pick a duration on the cheat page and complete checkout. Your license key is generated as soon as the payment clears and is bound to your account, not to a specific PC yet. The HWID lock only fires the first time you inject, which is covered in step 7. If you have not registered yet, do that on the signup page before you pay so the key attaches to your account cleanly.

  2. Log in and open your dashboard.

    Sign in on the login page. Your dashboard shows the active key, days remaining, current loader build, and the download button. Before you download anything, glance at the status page in a second tab. If MW4 is flagged red or amber, do not inject yet. Ricochet moves fast around patches and we would rather you wait ten minutes than burn a HWID slot on a stale build.

  3. Add a Windows Defender exclusion for the download folder.

    Every private loader trips signature-based antivirus. This is normal and it is not a virus, but Defender will quarantine the file the second it lands on disk if you do not tell it not to. Make a dedicated folder somewhere simple like C:\MW4, then add that path to Defender's exclusion list under Virus & threat protection settings.   4. Download the loader from your account.

    Back in your dashboard, click the download button and save the loader executable into the folder you just excluded. Do not save it to Downloads, Desktop, or OneDrive. OneDrive sync in particular will re-scan the file every few minutes and can undo your exclusion. The download is small, usually well under 10 MB, because the payload is fetched fresh from our servers at inject time.

  5. Confirm TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot are enabled.

    Modern Warfare 4 refuses to launch without both, and Ricochet checks for a Trusted Foundation before it will even let you into a lobby. Open Windows and run tpm.msc: the specification version should read 2.0. Then run msinfo32 and check that Secure Boot State is On. If either is off, reboot into BIOS, enable them, and reboot back into Windows before continuing. Skipping this is the single most common reason a first install fails: the loader injects fine, then MW4 crashes to desktop the second you queue.

  6. Launch Modern Warfare 4 first, then the loader.

    Get MW4 to the main menu before you touch the loader. Right-click the loader executable and choose Run as administrator. If a UAC prompt appears, accept it. The loader opens as a small window and asks for your key. Paste the key from your dashboard, hit enter, and give it a few seconds to authenticate. On this first run only, the loader binds to your PC's hardware ID.   7. Wait for the green inject light.

    Once authenticated, the loader pulls the current MW4 build fingerprint, verifies it matches a supported build, and injects. You will see a status line change from Loading to Injected, usually with a green indicator. If it stays yellow or shows Build mismatch, MW4 updated and we have not shipped the rebuild yet. Close the loader, check the status page, and try again once we flag the build green. Do not force it. The loader is deliberately conservative here so you do not eat a detection because you were impatient.

  8. Alt-tab into MW4 and press Insert.

    Bring Modern Warfare 4 to the foreground and press the Insert key. The menu opens as an overlay. Move it around, resize it, get comfortable. Nothing is enabled by default on a fresh install, which is intentional: we would rather you tick features on one at a time than jump into a public lobby with everything maxed on your first match.

  9. Load a config or start with defaults.

    New buyers should start with the built-in Legit preset for the first few matches. It runs a low FOV aimbot with prediction, ESP boxes without skeletons, and no radar. PITFALLS

Things that trip up first-time installs

Defender re-quarantines the loader after you download it

This means the folder exclusion did not save, or the MW4 Cheats loader ended up somewhere else on disk. Open Windows Security, confirm the exact folder path is still in the exclusion list, and re-download. If you moved the loader after downloading, the exclusion no longer covers it. Move it back or add the new path.

MW4 crashes the moment you queue for a match

Almost always TPM 2.0 or Secure Boot being off. Ricochet checks for the Trusted Foundation at match start, not at game launch, so the game boots fine and then dies at the lobby load. Re-check step 5. If both are on and it still crashes, the loader build may be behind the current MW4 build; check the status page.

Loader says "Build mismatch" or "Waiting on rebuild"

Modern Warfare 4 updated and we are still verifying the rebuild. This is by design. MW4 Cheats pauses the loader when Ricochet moves and rebuilds the same day in most cases. Do not try to force-inject an older build, and do not run any loader you did not download from your own dashboard today. Refresh the status page every few minutes.

Key will not activate

Usually a copy-paste issue with a trailing space, or the key was already bound to a different machine. Copy the key straight from your dashboard, not from the payment email. If it is genuinely stuck, open a ticket from the contact page with your order ID and we will sort it.
